I visited downtown Dubuque today including the Hotel Julien.  The hotel is gorgeous, and the River Room has a large outdoor balcony for our guests.  Karma and I ate at Caroline’s Restaurant and truly enjoyed the food.  I had ahi-tuna tacos and Karma had a Greek salad.  At the bar for our wedding, you will see that Karma and I have designed drinks for our guests.  Please try them.  They are fabulous!

The Holiday Inn is approximately two blocks away so it is a short walk from one hotel to the other.  Remember to call your hotel if you are flying into Dubuque so that they will pick you up from the Airport.

There is a great cholaterie across the street from The Julien named Stam that I heavily recommend.  They have gelato, espresso drinks and of course chocolate.  I had coffee  crunch today in a waffle cone.  Try it when you are here.
